2017 Horse Day Camp

RCTRC has been welcoming riders and participants for 22 years, 2015 was our first year for a horse daycamp.  We have just set the dates for the 2016 camp:  June 27 - July 1, 2016!!! Our planned camp sessions give horse loving boys and girls the opportunity to spend plenty of time with our amazing animals. Campers are divided into groups, based on their ability and ages, to provide riders with activities appropriate to their skill levels. In addition, campers take part in the daily grooming, tacking up and care of the horse or pony assigned to them. Campers also participate in activities that promote good horsemanship as well as crafts and swimming/water play.

We offer two camp programs, based on age. The first program is our Kiddie Camp, which is a wonderful experience for children ages 5-7. The camp runs for five consecutive days from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm and is $250.00 per session. Our second program is our Youth Camp, for ages 8 and older. The camp runs for five consecutive days from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm and is $250.00 per session. For more detailed information on a specific camp, please click on the links below. See you at camp!!

Youth Camp:

RCTRC's Youth Camp is geared for children age 8 and older. Each five day session gives horse loving boys and girls a chance to spend plenty of time with these wonderful animals. Campers are divided into teams and rotate between riding, and hands-on activities. The campers will learn to safely groom, tack up and care for the horse or pony assigned to them. The riding portion starts with the basics and then each child will progress at their own pace. After lunch, we offer swimming, crafts, and additional time with the horses. We always stress safety, good horsemanship, and fun.
